Announcements
New Prescription Medication Policy.
Beginning June 26, 2026, patients prescribed chronic opioid or benzodiazepine medications will be evaluated during their regular visits to determine the most appropriate and safe plan of care. This may include continuing these medications when clinically appropriate or coordinating care with outside pain management or behavioral health specialists based on your provider’s clinical assessment.
We understand that changes involving medications can sometimes feel uncertain or concerning. Please know that our team is here to support you every step of the way. Any decisions regarding your care will be made thoughtfully, with your safety, comfort, and overall well-being as our top priorities. We remain fully committed to caring for all of your other medical needs and to continuing the high-quality, patient-centered care you expect from us.
Health Insurance & Self-Pay Options
We accept most major health insurance policies. For self-pay patients, we welcome payment by checks, credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Most major credit cards are accepted for all transactions.
Health and Wellness
🧠Mental Health Matters 💙
Your mind needs care just like your body.
Stress, anxiety, depression — they are not signs of weakness, but signals that deserve attention and support.
💬 It’s okay not to be okay.
You are not alone. Reach out, talk to someone, and take that first step toward healing.
Let’s break the stigma — because mental health is health.
Our Community Cares
At Purdy Medical Clinic, community care goes beyond our walls.
We are proud to support the efforts of our local community resources — from health and wellness programs, to food banks, to organizations that provide education, safety, and support for families.
When we work together, we build a stronger, healthier community for everyone. Cooperation between individuals, local businesses, and community organizations ensures that help is available when it’s needed most.
Together, we can make a lasting impact. 💙
Stay connected to what’s happening around you! Checking local community calendars is a great way to discover upcoming events, programs, and resources. It’s an easy way to stay informed, get involved, and feel more connected to the community you call home.

Reflecting on 2025 at Purdy Medical Clinic
As we look back on 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the growth, learning, and trust that defined this year at Purdy Medical Clinic. From welcoming new team members to expanding access and availability for our patients, this year challenged us to grow while staying rooted in what matters most—compassionate, patient-centered care. We are thankful for our patients and community who supported us as we continued to build, improve, and strengthen our services. Every visit, conversation, and connection helped shape who we are becoming, and we look forward to carrying these lessons into the year ahead with renewed purpose and commitment.
September is Suicide Prevention Month
You are not alone. Help is available.
September is Suicide Prevention Month, a time to remind ourselves that mental and emotional health are just as important as physical health.
At Purdy Medical Clinic, we believe in caring for the whole person. If you or someone you love is struggling with feelings of hopelessness, isolation, or thoughts of suicide, please reach out. Sometimes simply asking, “Are you okay?” can start an important conversation.
If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is an immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Your life matters. You don't have to face difficult times alone.
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
Early detection can make a difference.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men, and the risk increases with age. September is a good time to talk with your healthcare provider about your individual risk and whether prostate cancer screening is appropriate for you.
At Purdy Medical Clinic, we believe preventive care and open conversations are an important part of staying healthy. If you have questions about prostate health or screening, we’re here to help.
Know your risk. Know your options. Take an active role in your health.
September is Healthy Aging Month
Aging is a part of life and every stage deserves to be lived well.
September is Healthy Aging Month, a time to focus on the habits and healthcare choices that can help us stay active, independent, and healthy as we grow older.
At Purdy Medical Clinic, we believe healthy aging means more than treating illness. Regular checkups, staying active, eating well, caring for your mental health, and staying connected with the people and activities you enjoy all play an important role in overall well-being.
Take care of yourself today so you can continue enjoying the years ahead.
