Health and Wellness
🧠Mental Health Matters 💙
Your mind needs care just like your body.
Stress, anxiety, depression — they are not signs of weakness, but signals that deserve attention and support.
💬 It’s okay not to be okay.
You are not alone. Reach out, talk to someone, and take that first step toward healing.
Let’s break the stigma — because mental health is health.

Our Community Cares

At Purdy Medical Clinic, community care goes beyond our walls.
We are proud to support the efforts of our local community resources — from health and wellness programs, to food banks, to organizations that provide education, safety, and support for families.
When we work together, we build a stronger, healthier community for everyone. Cooperation between individuals, local businesses, and community organizations ensures that help is available when it’s needed most.
Together, we can make a lasting impact. 💙
Spotlight on Staff
We are happy to showcase the winner of our first (but, definitely not last) staff coloring contest. Our winner wishes to remain anonymous, but as you can see from her artwork, she's pretty amazing! Congratulations to our winner.

September is Suicide Prevention Month
At Purdy Medical Clinic, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. This September, we join communities across the nation in recognizing Suicide Prevention Month—a time to raise awareness, spread hope, and remind one another that help is always available.
Every life matters, and every struggle deserves compassion. Together, we can break the silence around suicide by starting conversations, listening without judgment, and reaching out to those who may feel alone. Even small acts of kindness and support can make a difference.
If you or someone you know is struggling:
-
Call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
-
Reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or healthcare professional.
-
Remember: you are not alone, and help is available 24/7.
This month—and every month—let’s work together to create a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
💙 It’s okay to not be okay. Reaching out is a sign of strength.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
This September, Purdy Medical Clinic stands with children and families whose lives have been touched by childhood cancer. 💛
Every year, thousands of children are diagnosed, and behind each diagnosis is a story of bravery, resilience, and hope. Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is a time to honor these young fighters, support their families, and shine a light on the need for continued research and compassionate care.
Here’s how we can all take part:
-
Wear gold, the color of childhood cancer awareness.
-
Support local and national organizations dedicated to helping children and families.
-
Offer encouragement and kindness to families in our community who may be walking this difficult journey.
Together, we can spread awareness, strengthen hope, and remind families facing childhood cancer that they are not alone.
💛 No child fights alone. 💛
